A complex of deserted islands north of Lipsi with few inhabitants. The best beach is Tiganakia, you'll visit it with the ferries coming from Lipsi, as well as the neighbouring islet Marathi. In the two taverns at the square you'll taste seafood and local flavors while at the tavern Apolafsi, outside the village, authentic homemade dishes.

Agathonisi

6. Agathonisi

Island east of Arki with few inhabitants suitable for deserted holidays, it's good to have your vehicle because there's no car rental service and boat for touring. Swim on the beach at the port and discover the surrounding beaches. Taste fresh seafood, grilled meats and traditional recipes at the port at Glaros and George taverns, and higher up on the road to Megalo Chorio at Atsidas.

Psara

The most alternative island on the list, better known for the events of the Revolution of 1821 than as a holiday destination.

The dark and mountainous landscape hides the picturesque settlement of Psara and many sandy beaches where you'll spend most of your time. Walk and discover the church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, Agios Nikolaos and Mavri Rachi and visit the beaches of Spitalia, Limnos and Ftelio. Eat at Spitalia and Iliovasilema.

An island east of Chios with a beautiful port and a picturesque settlement worth visiting. The statue of a mermaid wearing a crown and holding a sailboat welcomes you to the port.

Visit the churches and the monasteries, if you have your vehicle you'll be able to tour the island and go to the beaches. Try traditional delicacies at Aignousiotiko Tavern.
