Coastal defense line in Argolida (what you can visit)

John KarkalatosSeptember 23, 2020

Argolida is well known for its archeological sites, but it also has many other sites from different periods that are generally unknown. Some of them are observation bunkers and artillery posts left by the German and Italian conquerors, silent and enigmatic remnants of another era. Their purpose was to guard the shores. So let's look at them in every detail.

Myloi

The facilities in Myloi are easily accessible and very interesting. They comprise a long coastal wall, a coastal pillbox, a coastal artillery post and barracks. It's located in a wonderful spot right on the mouth of the river Lerna. It's easy to visit the site even with children.
