The impressive Foneas beach in Messinian Mani
An impressive as well as a wild beach which even if you don't have plans to swim there it is worth a visit to see it even from above. A wild landscape with cliffs as well as the big rock standing in the middle, the photos speak for themselves. It is undoubtedly one of the best beaches of Peloponnese.
It is located between Kardamyli and Stoupa. At the point the main road forms a horseshoe and right on the horseshoe a road descends leading to a parking lot. Most people park their vehicles on the left and right of the road. There is a canteen as well as a shower. There are no umbrellas and sunbeds. Be careful with the pebbles because they are as big as a shoe. The beach is not suitable for small children.
